Yountsville, Dec 26 - Cyrus Little, one of the most prominent farmers and life long resident of Montgomery County, died at his home just west of the village Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from hardening of the arteries and heart trouble. Mr. Little was in Crawfordsville Thursday and transacted business. Friday he worked on his farm doing little routine duties and retired in good health. About 9 o'clock Friday night he became ill with heart trouble and died Monday afternoon. Deceased was born on the Ellis Little farm on the Perrysville road, Oct 17, 1863, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Little. He was raised on this farm to manhood. He was a member of the Christian Church and a staunch adherent of that faith. He was also a member of the IOOF Lodge. He was first married to Miss Mary McClure and to this union was born a daughter, Mrs. Henry Bell of Heming, Ill. He was afterwards married to Mrs. Flora Davis. He had been a farmer all his life and successful at his profession. He was prominently known over the county and leaves many friends. Besides his wife and daughter he is survived by a brother, Guy Little, Waynetown; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Balsar, Mrs. John Ellis and Mrs. James Ingersoll all of Waynetown. The funeral services will be held from the home Thursday morning at 10 o'clock with Rev PO Duncan of Waynetown officiating. The body will be brought to this city, for interment in Oak Hill Cemetery. -- kbz
